2.1 Design

A column design capable of reaching a max working height of 20m, with an additional 2.5m for safety

Standards -All Equipment is CE marked and Declaration of Conformity issued

EN standards used for Steel and Aluminium

Electrical equipment is Atex rated due to oil and gas

Weight – 5T with 9t @ – 25m

Float system - Lifted by hydraulic power pack, manual lever to place the gangway into free float position and moves with the weight of the vessel

Wind Speed - Maximum operational wind speed 25m/s can remain docked to vessel up to 35m/s.

Designed to be used unlashed but recommended in high winds

Storm lock position

Deck steps - Currently uses rollers Possibly review and change to roller

Design life – 25 years and paint 15 years
